Our ride leaders have complete discretion about whether the ride should go ahead. They are not compelled or obliged to lead in all circumstances. Reasons to call off a ride could be down to illness or poor weather conditions so changes are always a possibility.
Here’s a guide about how to cancel a ride.
1. You, or a proxy (perhaps someone you know who lives near the start point), should turn up to the start point to alert anybody turning up on the day.
2. Use the google group emails to communicate the cancellation if there’s enough time. We have three groups which will reach most regular riders. If you want a committee member will be able to do this for you.

3. Contact a committee member who will create a post on the web site.
